and the video? at his wedding, he missed the point of the song! (and it's NOT about cheating, i'll get to that in a min!) and i'm sorry, but i don't think this is his first album, but this is the only song people know by him. he HAD to use someone else's song to get his name known. that shows a lack of talent to me. (and i have nothing against country, i'm actually listening to a country song right now)





now, as for the song being about cheating. the person above who said to listen to the lyrics needs to take his own advice. ever heard the word BUT? what follows the word but? the opposite of what is in front of it. example: i don't want to go to work, but i'll be fired. so i'm gonna go to work! i don't say exactly that, instead i give the reason i have to. so when austin says ';i never wanna say goodbye but girl you make it hard to be faithful...'; he is saying he has to say goodbye because she makes it hard for him to be faithful. that doesn't sound like cheating to me. you can't help who you have feelings for. austin said that the girl who called him when he was with the other girl had broken up with him and was calling thinking she made a mistake. he still had feelings for her but he wasn't going back to her.I've got blood squirting from My eye sockets -';Lips of an Angel';?

why do you have to be so negative? Just because someone sings country doesn't mean they're a 'hick'. You shouldn't be mad that someone else sang the song, you should be mad that the song promotes cheating, no matter who sings it. I don't like either version because they song is destructive once you actually pay attention to the lyrics. I apologize for assuming that someone of your great musical genius would actually take time to listen to the lyrics of a song, my bad. I applaud you taking time to be angry at a song while the world is in such a beautiful condition that trivial songs can be cursed. Have a happy day! =)
Ok, first of all IT'S NOT A GOOD SONG. THAT SONG IS HORRIBLE. Second of all, Hinder version is better.
I don't like it either when new bands do old material. Britney Spears did ';Satisfaction'; from Rolling Stones, and ruined that song too. I'd recommend ';Wind of Change'; by the Scorpions.
When I heard that country version I thought I'd die. It is so awful I can't even believe someone told that guy it sounded good. Nevermind to put it on a cd and pay radio stations to play it. Yuck!

The singer is Jack Ingram and it is not a good rock ballad. An example of a good rock ballad is ';Every Rose Has Its Thorn'; by Poison.
Well, that's almost as bad as the airhead kids, who think that Fergie is a musical genius, liking ';Lips of an Angel'; and requesting it on their rap stations.
Lets see here first of all its nice to hear a song actually sung and not screamed where you can actually here the lyrics to the song....and country is the biggest growing genre of music right now because of people like jack Ingram which is a great musician and to the people who think he has to copy peoples songs umm go listen to some of his songs and rethink what you have said cuz jack ingrams version is way better and so is the music video he has which is also better so yea country pretty much rocks and is one of the biggest music genre there is...........

OMG IKR!! oh it's horrible...i heard it on the radio the other day and i was just like ughhh!!? why would someone let that on the radio.....he needs to stick to singing in the shower where nobody can hear him.....it's ridiculous. :l
It's been released by Jack Ingram as a ';country'; song but it sure ain't country music!


Even tho I'm a country fan, I'm with ya on this one.
