i use the lip liner, because the color comes out better than regular eye liner. its pink, and by maybelline. i put two other types of eyeliners on top and they come off easily. the lip liner fades and stays on my eye. help please !How can i remove lip liner from my eye ?
I use baby oil to remove eyeliner so I am sure either that or a baby wipe would take it right off but I would try the baby oil first ...it is gentle on the eyes and then take a warm wash cloth and wipe the oil from your eyes and it should be gone ....

I'm not a huge fan of eyebrow piercings on anyone, and I think lip piercings are really hot, especially on guys... :)


Also, an eyebrow piercing never really goes away, even if you take it out, you will most likely always have a hole, or a bad scar. And old people look ridiculous with eyebrow piercings. At least with a lip one, if you don't like it, you can take it out!Should i get a lip or eye brow peircing?
Both sound equally good. No piercing suits a particular age/peer group, they're for everyone!





Since I don't know what you look like, it's impossible to say what will look good on you, and no one wants to pay to look ridiculous now do they? The best bet is to ask your friends what they think, and make sure that they are the type of friend that will give you an honest opinion, rather than pick the one that they think you want them to.
I think that if you don't have the right face, an eyebrow piercing can look tacky,





You're always safe with a lip piercing.


But don't go for the usual ';In the middle'; piercing,,


Get your lip pierced to one side :)

Yes. Lip gloss really goes for any age, eye glitter is something that is age appropriate for teens, and eye liner is good when applied correctly.

wear lip liner and lip plumper for your lips. for your eyes, wear eyeliner outside your eye. dont put it inside, it makes your eyes appear smaller. depending on your eye color buy this almay eye intensifier stuff. it works really good and it makes your eyes pop.

well I use a white or light colored eye shadow in the corners of my eyes to make them look bigger, wider, and whiter (corners closest to the nose) for the lips use a lip liner and they have something called bee venom you can use on your lips that will plump them up cost about 20-25 dollars but it stings for a little while try the one from Avon it may be cheaper and it has the same effect

well i think you should use black mascara to show off your eyes, and then pick a color you like and say it was blue. use a light blue then above it use a darker shade of blue. as for lips use dark lip pencils of the same color as your lipstick.
to make your lips look bigger, draw your liner along the outside of your lip line, but never lose contact with that line or things will look exceptionally artificial. use a shimmery lip color which makes lips look bigger or dab a little gold eyeshadow in the center of your lips and blend outward

CC is exactly right. The eyeliner can really draw attention to your eyes and kind of ';open'; them up; so to speak. I have noticed (I am a blonde/redhead) that with my light hair color; the darker the color mascara, the larger my eyes look. So keep that in mind.





An eye lash curler (I use Maybelline) to curl your lashes BEFORE using mascara can also gives your eyes that 'wider' look. I use the kind of mascara that applies a 'white' color first to ';set'; your lashes, then I apply the black over it. Let me tell ya...my lashes are so long and beautiful using that method...I actually get compliments.





Also, CC's answer on enlarging the look of the lips, is also good advice. Just make sure that the 'lip liner' isn't the only thing you see, when someone looks at your lips. It should closely match the color of the lipstick you wear...just a liner that is a shade darker than the lip color.

smoking, chewing tobacco, citrus foods, bad oral hygene, and low immune system can all be factors in why you get canker sores. I get them sometimes, usually when Im sick.

My suggestion would be for you to see a dermatologist as well as an allergist. The dermatologist will determine what type of skin reaction that you are having, eczema, dermatitis, etc. The allergist can first test you for allergies to foods and such, so that you will have a better understanding of what is causing the rashes. It sounds like eczema to me, one of my girlfriends kids experienced the same thing, there are creams, ointments, and medications for this. It's lip liner they're using, not eye liner. Well, maybe, but I've never heard of it. It just makes there lips look bigger, and even in if was eye liner, it probably still has the same use as lip liner.
Women wear LIP LINER to keep the lip stick or lip gloss from bleeding or feathering onto the skin around their lips. For older women, this is particularly important, as lipstick will get in the lines/wrinkles around their lips. Also, people who have an uneven lip line might use lip liner to make their lip line more even or more precise. I guess some women might substitute eyeliner for lip liner.





Basically, the lip liner is NOT supposed to show! It is supposed to be under the lipstick. But when women forget to reapply lipstick, the liner shows--so the girl has a big pale mouth with a dark outline, which looks really bad. The lesson here is that if you're set on wearing lip liner, you have to commit to keeping the lipstick touched up, or you'll look like a clown! I hope this is a helpful answer!
I'm one of the one's who is too cheap to buy a lipliner when an eyeliner will give me the same effect. Usually better! It's hard to find a good lipliner anyway, usually because the color looks differently on your lip, then it does on the pencil. It's wisdom to just kill two birds with one stone. Also, I use lip liner to make my lips look full, and neat. I don't line outside my lips, but I line my actual lip just to make a ';neat lip.'; As for other women... I don't know why they line outside their actual lip line.. I don't come across that too much. I think it's typically movie stars, media, etc. because up close, you can't see that they missed their lip!! Haha!

They aren't made for beginners, they are made for everyone. I love most of their cosmetics and I own or have owned everyhting (I mean everything) they have made makeup related (besides their mineral wear and new creamy eyeshadow duos). Everything is $1 so try what you want, there's nothing to loose!





Things to warn you about from my experience:





- Their liquid eyeliner is horrible. It dried in the bottle within acouple weeks and it dried and clumped on my lashline. Good liquid eyeliners should not do that.





- Their lipglosses are pretty awesome in my book, they are made to be very natrual looking. I expected the colors of the glosses to have more ';umph!' to them. I like the plumping lipglaze and the Moisture care lip color the best!!!





- Their black/brown mascara is good for $1 but it will feel kind of heavy and very creamy when you apply it than other brands.





- Their sky blue and white eyeliners are very hard to apply. The cap on the white eyeliner also falls off easily. I think they use a different formula for them since they are lighter than the others. The others are great!





Other than that I have heard horrible reviews on their makeup remover pads...from a ton of people.

my package just came in today, and tried everything on. so here are the things i liked and didnt like





-The lip glosses i love. It stays on long and there are very pretty colors. I also love the lip plumper in champagne





- The eyes shadows are alright. I defentally have had better eyeshadow, but there are some pretty colors. Im going to have to experiment more with those.





- I bought the mineral powder, and i dont like that as much as the stuff im using now, its pretty cheap, and the powder brush sucks. Use one of your own, or go buy one cuz this one is not good.





- I have dark under eye circles, and i need a good concealer, and i did not like theres. It did come off really fast.





-Do not get the fake eyelashes, they suck!!!





- eyelash curler is good. exsepcially for only $1





Overall, i would say that its good makeup, defentally cheap makeup like wet and wild that they sell in drugstores, but i would suggest you try some stuff out, cuz you might like it, and its only a buck each except for the mineral powder, so you really cant lose much. Jetblack eye liner, ANY eye shadow color practically,but wear it brightly to show bolder. Use it from the crease to the lash line, then blend some above..





Wear your lip %26amp; eye colors to match what color top you're wearing, if you wear both warm %26amp; cool clothes.Example: I'm cool, %26amp; I tend to only buy cool clothes,not the yellow toned ones in warm colors. So I wear blues the real greens, not sage or avacado, %26amp; use the liner AFTER the shadow. You can also use the pointed end of a shadow applicator to make a small line of color under your lashes of your eye shadow. Be careful %26amp; go lightly, you can always go back %26amp; get some more. Put on some til you get what you feel best in.





Cool lips colors are in the rose tones, Warms are in the orange tones....Coordinate blush to match lip tone, Ex: do not wear a orange lipcolor %26amp; rose color blush....





Practice when you're not going out..
Purples, blues, greens and teals will make your eyes pop. (:

Since you have skin, dont use any bright or pinkish blush, try a bronzer, to bring out the brown in your skin. Green eyeliner really makes grey eyes pop for a funky look. I would keep your lips nude, because you're best asset is most likely your eyes since its so uncommon for grey eyes (I'm truly jealous :] ) but like I said, focus on your eyes. Use colors that would really make your eyes really stand out. And don't forget the mascara, that is one go to item that would always bring out your best features.

Its impossible to give a proper opinion without this info? With tanned skin its unlikely your a red head...so we've narrowed it down to blonde or brunette...What about your skin tone? Tanned as in golden caramel and warm toned or tanned as in cool, ashy, olive toned? Which?
Depending on your personality you can go for a natural look (shades of earthy colors,) or you can go for some brighter colors which is great for a summer look.

The darker is your eye shadow, the better you would look. I would use Navy or dark gray for you. The blush and lip should have nude or neutral shades-

For blush, I'd go with a pink or rose color. Lips, you could do burgundy, berry, or mauve. And eyes: maybe blue?

Yes, you need to go. Your urine is dark yellow cause you aren't keeping fluids down. You are dehydrated. Also ask for a pill called Zofran this will help with the vomiting.

You can try re hydrating yourself by drinking small amounts regularly but if you we having severe vomiting you may need medical help to recover. It is not unknown for pregnant women to have this problem.

A professional piercer will take a long time marking and measureing precisely where to pierce. There's also the possibility of it becoming infected, not healing %26amp; rejecting (particularly with your eyebrow). There's also no real reason why anyone would, because by the time you buy jewellery, suitable piercing needles, gloves, something to sterilize the above with and aftercare, you'd probably be paying double the cost of the piercing. If it's your age that's the issue, I'd suggest waiting until it's legal to have the piercing done and you'd maybe be surprised to find you've changed your mind.
If you mean YOU do it, then yes. The equipment has to be thoroughly sterilized, or else there is a HUGE risk for infection. Getting it done professionally would be much safer, but make sure they have a license, and make sure you see them take out NEW equipment before they use it on you.

the mascara would be fine, on the very ends of your lashes(the ends don't have color, so if you color the ends it makes your lashes look longer.) what you should do with the eyeliner is make a normal line across each area around your lashes. then take makeup remover, take a cloth with the remover on it, make it taut around the area where our finger is underneath, and wipe off your eyelids, leaving only the liner that is very close to your lashes.

I have fair skin and pink undertones. I'm still refining my natural look, but this is what I do so far:


First of all, don't skip the eyeshadow. You can go for a natural look with eyeshadow on. It just needs to be a light/neutral color.


For eyeshadow, I use a matte white for the base, a shimmery pink for the lid, and a matte light brown for the crease. I use a brown eye pencil in my waterline (and sometimes above my waterline as well). I use an eyelash curler and apply brown mascara to my upper lashes. For the bottom waterline, I use a white eye pencil to give my eyes a more open look.


Then, I use concealer on my trouble spots, and use bare minerals foundation for a sheer, natural coverage. Then, I use a contouring powder to give some more definition to my cheeks and I use a highlighting cream on my face to give the illusion of perfect structure.


Afterwards, I use a non-shimmery pink color for blush.


My lips are pretty big, so I usually just go neutral with the lip color, but if you want more definition, you can always use a light or shimmery lip color or use lip gloss.


I'm still working on the natural look too...it's not easy! LOL

I'd buy one for the eyes, since you only really need one blush and lip color, and there's no need to buy an entire palette of them. Which is how I take it you mean 'palette', as in 4-6 colors of a makeup in one container. If I'm wrong, pick the type of palette to accentuate your favorite feature. If lips, lip palette, if eyes, eye palette, etc. And really, brown eyes can still be made to look larger and better with an eye palette - maybe not with the pop of color another eye color might afford, but pretty nevertheless. I would go with the eye palette. Brown eyes can be ';popped'; with purple colors. So if you can find a palette with purples in it then you should get it =]

If you live in the US, you might not have heard of this, but there is a brand here in Australia called ChiChi, with every colour under the sun for only a little price. The compacts also have the coolest names eg. ';Little Miss Rich *****';


However, seeing as the brand is Australian it might just as much as MAC in the US, I don't know!
There is a brand I have found at Wal-mart called ';Hip'; It is by L'Oreal. It's only a few dollars and it is available in color duo, small round compacts that have a mirror and applicator brushes stored on the lower level of the compact........Open the shadow side, then flip it and open the under side where the mirror and applicators are. Go get 'em!!!

Pink eye is highly, highly infectious and is spread very easily. While I wouldn't say that kissing will transmit the infection, any contact with the eye or near the eye area will.





Your girlfriend needs to be very careful about touching her eyes or eye area and then touching other surfaces....including your hands, your face. She will need to wash her hands frequently and disinfect surfaces like countertops, sinks, faucets, door knobs, etc....





Also, she needs to make sure that she does not share towels, napkins, tissue...etc. with anyone. This can also spread the infection to others.





The good news is, the Dr. should be able to easily diagnose and prescribe medicine. She will be back to normal in just a few days. In the meantime, just be very cautious. You do not want to keep passing the infection back and forth.
I wouldn't risk it. I wouldn't even touch her at all until it's totally gone because pink eye is extremely contagious.

I think my Mom's rule was that I could wear make up like that (light and no mascara or eye liner) when I turned 14. I'm pretty sure that she bent the rules and let me at 13. I think 12 might be a little too young for daily make up, but once in a while for fun I think it's fine.





I have an 8 year old girl, and every now and then she asks me to put make up on her. I take my lightest-barely can see pink eyeshadow and pink lip gloss and let her wear it.
if it's really light then I wouldn't have a problem with it. My parents got me powder and mascara when I turned 12 or 13 but it was like the exact same color of my skin and eye lashes naturally so I felt cool and like I got some privileges and they were probably laughing cause they got a fast one over on me. Personally, I think too much makeup makes an adolescent look a little silly, kind of like the 5 year old dressing up in her mother's high heels. I don't think eyeshadow is really a good day-look for anyone. Maybe for a dance or a party, but not for daily use. Lipgloss is pretty harmless. Mascara is probably not a big deal if it looks pretty natural.

you mean because your face is chapped? or for make-up purposes? I use vaseline for lips and face, especially for make-up, like turning eye shadow into cream shadow or blush etc. I don't know the diff. between the two, or that there was one specifically for eyes. but, I'd say just the most basic stuff often works the best.





but if your skin is super dry, you can use it for face too. the best all-purpose balm is cocoa butter or something called Aquafor. I LOVE that stuff. It's expensive though. I think it should be fine, I use lip balm on my eyes sometimes with no ill effects. If it's safe for around the lips and mouth, it should be safe around the eyes as long as you don't have something like a cold sore. :)
Certain products are prohibited for use around the eyes while allowed for use around the lips. I would be wary of doing that because you don't know if it's going to be safe.
I think anything that your unsure, i think the best option is to WAIT and do your research or get your eye balm.

I think you should go with very neutral eyeshadows like browns and bronzes. . you can buy the kind of eyeshadow like maybeline that tell you what shadow in the quad is for which eye, that might help to achieve the look you desire

Eyeshadow: with dark brown eyes AND considering your tan skin, dark khaki, pastel blue, lilac, black and dark navy blue is really nice. And remember to go dark on the lid and lighter as you fill up the rest of the eyelid.





Lipstick: I find medium or pastel pink shades to be the best. And for dark, a deep prune or cranberry but maybe mixed with a soft pink shade to lighten the dark color.

It's done in photoshop. the area is selected and feathered. inserted and the opposite area is converted to black and white.





It is a bit of work, and I know of no one who will do it for free. You might try posting on craigslist to find someone cheap, or some custom labs will do if for a nominal fee.
if you have photoshop, you can use the history brush. reaaalllllllyyyyy carefully.

I honestly don't think they would be selling ELF at Nordstroms- it would degrade Nordstrom brand image- it's like saying they are going to start selling Wet n' Wild make up there- which is actually more expensive than ELF. Are e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) cosmetics sold in Canada?

I want to try them out because they're so cheap and I've heard some good things about them, except I've also heard that ordering them online is not the best, especially to Canada because of the long waiting time and the quality of the products shipped. I'd much rather go into a store and purchase them myself, being able to see then. Does anyone know of any stores that carry them in Canada?Are e.l.f. (eyes, lips, face) cosmetics sold in Canada?
I live in Toronto and I only have seen few (and I mean very few) ELF products in Winners at Bloor Street. But you know Winners doesn't always carry the same items - so I doubt they still have it. While ELF is very inexpensive, the $15 shipping fee to Canada is definitely a bummer.

What colours should i use-lips and eyes.?

For your eyes I think that you should use a light coco brown.

Having dark colors on your eyes, really make them pop and look fantastic. I would use a dark shadow, and liner and make a smokey eye look.

and for your lips, light pink goes really well with blue colored eyes.

browns on your eyes. try almays intense i colour kit, it's made especially to bring out certain colored eyes, and comes with easy to follow directions. and for your lips, do them nude, put concealor on your top and bottom lips and rub it in and then cover with a nude or clear lip gloss (:
if your going for everyday look id do a nice nuetral pink on your lips and maybe a brownish for your eyes. brown eyeshadows make blue eyes pop.
Coral is super in this summer, and would look good with your hair and eye color. Go with a sheer gold or nude on the eyes.
if you want a natural look go for a nice bronze color on the eyes. For the lips a nice peach gloss color
i think a nice light pink for your lips and maybe purple or pinky eyeshadow.


i also think that black eyeliner would look nice!


experiment with different colourss though!

First you need to turn your image into a greyscale picture.


IMAGE-GREYSCALE


Once you have done that you need to increase your colour.


IMAGE-INCREASE COLOR DEPTH - 16million(24)


Next click on your freehand selection tool,(you may want to enlarge your pic before you do this so you can trace the outline of what you want changed easy)


once you have what you want outlined, with the marching ants around it,


click on hue and saturation (could be found under adjust) and go to colour. you can play with your colours in there to find the right one you want. click on ok, and your pic should change.

first sect the area of the graphic you want to change, then go up to the top to colors, then select colorize.

Red lips and smokey eye?

So I have a wine red colored, vintage-like prom dress and I was wondering if red lips and the smokey eye is too much for prom...


either that or red lips with simple liner and mascara...

I'd go with one or the other. A red lip and a smokey eye are both dramatic make-up looks meant to draw attention to the lips and eyes. On your face, you only want to highlight one feature at a time.

A smokey eye CAN be paired with red lips if you do it right.. And prom is the perfect place to wear it, because the lights are dark and you need to wear make-up that stands out a little. Both red lips and smokey eye are such classics that you won't regret it come 20 years later when you're looking at your pictures.





You just need to keep the smokey eye subdued and not so harsh. It you put a champagne color on the lid and use a dark color on the crease and blend it, it's a lighter smokey eye and it's still hot without being too much with the red lips.

As a general rule, you should either play up your lips or your eyes. Smokey eyes and red lips are very dramatic likes within themselves so I would choose just one. Mrs. Lisle had a great idea, go for the red lip with eyeliner and mascara. That way you have definition around your eyes, but you have the dramatic look on your lips.
A smokey eye is good for all occasions. However, depending on the shade of your skin, etc, red lipstick might be a little overboard. Try it on and ask a friend?
well it i depends on what you want to pop out do you want your eyes or lips if eyes do smockeyand pale lips. For lips do red and put something simple but unique for the eyes.
Red lips only suit darker-skinned women. Besides, I heard you're only supposed to highlight one facial feature. So pick one, lips or eyes?
Only do one bold thing not two you will look like a clown no offense but you only want attention on one thing on your face I would do the eyes
Forget about the red lips.


If I were you, I wouldn't put anything on my lips, and just do the simple liner with mascara.
smokey eyes are more for nude lips.
dont go with the red, esp. if you have fairer skin...could easily make you look skanky.
