I want to make my eyes look bigger, because my eyes are really wide.. i've been told theyre identical to adriana lima's. anyone know how to bring focus to them? and any lip glosses to plump lips up (while being normal tones like peach or being nude or gloss)?I want to bring more focus to my eyes and lips! any suggestions?

and then put dark eyeshadow your eyelids to make you reallly look like adriana lima =]

Eyeliner and mascara will deffinatly do the trick. Also add some glitter, it will make the look complete. Use a light pink lip gloss with a touch of glitter, it really looks cute....good luck!

Nose piercing making lip & under eye hurt?
I got my nose pierced yesterday evening, and since then, my under eye %26amp; upper lip have been hurting along with my nose. I've been taking care of it like the piercer told me to. Is it possible he hit something? Should I take it out?Nose piercing making lip %26amp; under eye hurt?

Consult a dermatologist first(skin specialist). If you have already done so, than doctor must have prescribed some ointment, lotion, gels/creams.
But if not, than try eucroma (it is skin fading cream), I request you to consult a doctor prior to use this cream. But it contains hydroquinone sulphate.
Next is Glyha ( It is also skin lightening cream), it contains Glycolic acid. (this time also I request you to consult a doctor).
Both these creams will help your skin colour to be even along whole face.
I again request you to consult the doctors and don't take this suggestions as only help/remedies as these creams can cause irritation or allergies.

They aren't made for beginners, they are made for everyone. I love most of their cosmetics and I own or have owned everyhting (I mean everything) they have made makeup related (besides their mineral wear and new creamy eyeshadow duos). Everything is $1 so try what you want, there's nothing to loose!
Things to warn you about from my experience:
- Their liquid eyeliner is horrible. It dried in the bottle within acouple weeks and it dried and clumped on my lashline. Good liquid eyeliners should not do that.
- Their lipglosses are pretty awesome in my book, they are made to be very natrual looking. I expected the colors of the glosses to have more ';umph!' to them. I like the plumping lipglaze and the Moisture care lip color the best!!!
- Their black/brown mascara is good for $1 but it will feel kind of heavy and very creamy when you apply it than other brands.
- Their sky blue and white eyeliners are very hard to apply. The cap on the white eyeliner also falls off easily. I think they use a different formula for them since they are lighter than the others. The others are great!
Other than that I have heard horrible reviews on their makeup remover pads...from a ton of people.

my package just came in today, and tried everything on. so here are the things i liked and didnt like
-The lip glosses i love. It stays on long and there are very pretty colors. I also love the lip plumper in champagne
- The eyes shadows are alright. I defentally have had better eyeshadow, but there are some pretty colors. Im going to have to experiment more with those.
- I bought the mineral powder, and i dont like that as much as the stuff im using now, its pretty cheap, and the powder brush sucks. Use one of your own, or go buy one cuz this one is not good.
- I have dark under eye circles, and i need a good concealer, and i did not like theres. It did come off really fast.
-Do not get the fake eyelashes, they suck!!!
- eyelash curler is good. exsepcially for only $1
Overall, i would say that its good makeup, defentally cheap makeup like wet and wild that they sell in drugstores, but i would suggest you try some stuff out, cuz you might like it, and its only a buck each except for the mineral powder, so you really cant lose much. my package just came in today, and tried everything on. so here are the things i liked and didnt like
-The lip glosses i love. It stays on long and there are very pretty colors. I also love the lip plumper in champagne
- The eyes shadows are alright. I defentally have had better eyeshadow, but there are some pretty colors. Im going to have to experiment more with those.
- I bought the mineral powder, and i dont like that as much as the stuff im using now, its pretty cheap, and the powder brush sucks. Use one of your own, or go buy one cuz this one is not good.
- I have dark under eye circles, and i need a good concealer, and i did not like theres. It did come off really fast.
-Do not get the fake eyelashes, they suck!!!
- eyelash curler is good. exsepcially for only $1
Overall, i would say that its good makeup, defentally cheap makeup like wet and wild that they sell in drugstores, but i would suggest you try some stuff out, cuz you might like it, and its only a buck each except for the mineral powder, so you really cant lose much. Good luck with that and hope you like it!

Jetblack eye liner, ANY eye shadow color practically,but wear it brightly to show bolder. Use it from the crease to the lash line, then blend some above..
Wear your lip %26amp; eye colors to match what color top you're wearing, if you wear both warm %26amp; cool clothes.Example: I'm cool, %26amp; I tend to only buy cool clothes,not the yellow toned ones in warm colors. So I wear blues the real greens, not sage or avacado, %26amp; use the liner AFTER the shadow. You can also use the pointed end of a shadow applicator to make a small line of color under your lashes of your eye shadow. Be careful %26amp; go lightly, you can always go back %26amp; get some more. Put on some til you get what you feel best in.

Since you have skin, dont use any bright or pinkish blush, try a bronzer, to bring out the brown in your skin. Green eyeliner really makes grey eyes pop for a funky look. I would keep your lips nude, because you're best asset is most likely your eyes since its so uncommon for grey eyes (I'm truly jealous :] ) but like I said, focus on your eyes. Use colors that would really make your eyes really stand out. And don't forget the mascara, that is one go to item that would always bring out your best features.

Its impossible to give a proper opinion without this info? With tanned skin its unlikely your a red head...so we've narrowed it down to blonde or brunette...What about your skin tone? Tanned as in golden caramel and warm toned or tanned as in cool, ashy, olive toned? Which?
Depending on your personality you can go for a natural look (shades of earthy colors,) or you can go for some brighter colors which is great for a summer look.

We say we can tell alot from someone's face but i think that's only possible if you know someone really well. You can't understand a face until you have developed an understanding of what lies behind and that takes time.
Most of the time though, when we're passing judgement on strangers based on their faces, we think we can tell something about the person. We like to play to our own vanity and tell ourselves we are clever enough to have formed a correct judgement. And sometimes we are right. (which confuses me a lot)

I once had a sweet little old lady from Argentina tell me the eyes never lie, and I find they never change. If they are almond shape they stay almond shape, if they are bright blue, they stay blue, but noses wrinkle, and lips become thin, but the eyes remain the same. I love eyes.

eyes: don't use too much of a dark shade of a eyeshadow, that would just make your eyes look smaller..
if you know how to use liquid eyeliner i would suggest to that on the top of your eyes.
for the bottom of your eyes take an eyeliner and run it threw a flame.. like a lighter or match.. wait about a min so it can cool (be careful) and pull down underneath your eye.. gently %26amp; lightly(very gently trust me it will go on smooth) run your eyeliner as close as your eye as you can get (before your eyelashes start!! don't put the eyeliner on under your eye lashes!!)
apply your eyeliner to only the edges to of your eyes not your whole eye that will just make it look smaller.. and make as thin as a line as you can.
when your done with everything apply mascara.
lips:apply a lip liner that matches well with your skin.
this might take practice to use but this will help you out so much
apply to exactly your lip line. when you are done apply a lipstick/lip gloss that is close in color

If you want bigger eyes, try using white eyeliner on the bottom of your eyelids. It'll make your eyes look more ';open'; and defined.
And if you just use black eyeliner, don't line your entire eye. Line the top but only line halfway on the bottom, but don't make it abruptly stop..kind of smudge it.
Also, another trick I use is I use mascara with an eyelash curler. The eyelash curler works WONDERS in the morning when I've just woken up and my eyes are pretty much dead. I'm asian, so I understand what you feel.
To curl your eyelashes:
First coat with a coat of mascara. Let dry for 10 seconds, then use the eyelash curler and hold for 10 seconds. Put on a second coat of mascara %26amp; repeat. Finally, finish off with a final coat of mascara...and Voila! Gorgeous lashes that open your eyes dramatically.
For lips:
I suggest using lipgloss/chapstick with some kind of plumper in it, i.e. Burt's Bees will make your lips swell up a little since it has peppermint oil. Or you can buy a lipgloss that is proven to plump up your lips, and you can tell it's working because i'll tingle :3
You can find all this stuff at your local drugstore in the makeup section.

use blue/green eye pencil instead of a black one..wear it inside ..n coat ur eye lashes with black mascarra..if wanna wear eye shadow..higlight below ur brows..with a lil whitish silver..not whole silver..use a whole lot of light coloured eye shadow..starting from the opening of ur eye..if u know wut that means..so that it evenly covers up ur whole eye..the lower part..n the eyelid..to endure the structure of ur eye..use a lil black eye shadow on the lining of ur eye..n darken it at the tip..to give a perfect eye shape..n smudge it..or its gonna look bad..n un-toned..
LIPS:
4r the lips..dont use a lip outliner..or they look bigger..stick to a metallic kinda gloss in shades of ivory/golden- bayge/peach../juz transparent ones wud do jus fine..
FACE:
well if u have a gud tan..dont need to use any sort of foundation..jus stick to a pink/purple shade of blush..covering ur cheek bones..da bridge of ur nose..chin..n the forehead..use very lil..or ur gonna look like a red tomato..make sure its evenly tonned..
HAIR:
u cud streak it with all the diffrent shades of blond high-lights..n curly hair wud look hott n classy..if u wish straight hair..u cud have a funky hair-cut- to give ur face a wild look..

eyes - blue is in this season... it really depends on your look (preppy, goth, emo, etc), so I'm just gonna pick one I think would go with your discription... try MAC fluidline (eyeliner), apply with contour (wedge) brush, dampen the brush %26amp; apply above the upperlash line only, use a soft blue or pink color applied with a shadow brush - wet to the crease (mid-lid) %26amp; dry to the lid closer to lashes (blend well), apply white (maybe even a shiney white) shadow to the lower area at the tear duct part of the center (wet %26amp; with contour brush) %26amp; to the upper lid (below eyebrows) with a shadow brush (wet or dry - experiment %26amp; see which you like better), use a liner one shade lighter then your skin color (if you can't fine, you can use concealer, but apply very lightly with a contour brush) %26amp; apply to your lower lash line (not the inside of your lash line, below it only) - this will make you look more awake (less tired)
cheeks - try no blush.. instead use a bronzer on the areas hit by the sun (forehead, nose, cheekbones, chin) (don't go to dark for your natural skin color)

My Redy Eye Tetra has a red ';cold sore'; looking spot on the top lip - is it a fungus or a wound?
My tank is 10gallon of peaceful community fish- and all of the sudden my red eye tetra has this spot- almost like a cold sore or a like her top lip is hanging off?? None of the other fish seem to have this, and I'm not sure what to do next? Do I take it out and isolate it until I figure it out? If I put her alone in a bowl she's likely get stressed and die anyway. please help! It's most likely just a wound. If it looks fuzzy or cottony, it could either be a fungus or a bacterial disease called columnaris. With no fuzzy look to it, I would simply keep the tank nice and clean while it heals. If it looks fuzzy, use Jungle Labs Fungus Eliminator as it will treat both fungus and columnaris disease. Treat right in the main tank as other fish could have it and it not be showing up yet.

Just buy medicine from a petstore! That's the quickest way to solve the problem!

Red sores or ulcers are usually a sign of a bacterial infection, and around the mouth area, is usually a sign of a bacterial infection called columnaris. There's a wide range of symptoms to that infection, it may or may not take on a cotton/fungus looking appearance on the mouth, fin/tail rot can go along with it, there may be white stringy material hanging from the fish as well. Those are just some of the more common symptoms. I'd say your best bet is to quarantine the fish and treat with an antibiotic like Maracyn Two.
if it looks white and like a tiny grain of salt its probably something called icc. it is a fungus and it is contagious. they sell them almost anywhere like petco, petsmart even walmart. its not expensive medicine and you should isolate it in a comfortable bowl or tank until it gets better. Hope it helps.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that statistically a tight pair of abs is the factor most men and women find most attractive. Personally a spankable butt does it for me, with her eyes a close second. But a woman's body for a straight man is more like a cocktail for the eyes, where every part contributes in some way to the overall sensation. For the lips drink a lot of water, and through a straw if possible.
Less licking.
Try pure and natural lip balms (no vaseline petroleum things)
Pure vitamin e is best. Break open a pill if you can.

Well they told me to use vaseline on my lips but it actualyl made the crusting on them worse! So my doctor prescribed me Hydrocortizone cream and it helped a load! Remember to keep topping up your moistoriser throughout the day (if youre not going out) and drink pleanty of water!

I used to go to a salon where they sold me a compact, square shaped with a round powder pat in the middle. They sold it in pink or brown shade, and it looked like lots of different tones marbled together. You could use it as a blush, eye colour or, if you wet a lip brush, as a lipstick! I don't really like the lip products, but the others are fine! Yes, it does take a few weeks to get the items ';Due to high demand';, but I have found that they are fine.
P.S. I am not someone they pay to do these things.
I've used the product and so have several of my family members. The lip treatments are great and last 12 hour or more and the facial toner, hydro spf, the color stick, and the powder shimmer are all terrific products too. Give them a try their products are worth the money. Good luck:))

I have very light skin, hazel eyes, and dark brown hair and I want to know what products and shades would work for my coloringWhat lip and eye shades work for me?
For your eyes: pinks and purples will give a great contrast and if you use a little brown that will give your eyes a nice compliment (don't wear too much or your eyes will be washed out!) and line your eyes in black, brown, or purple
For you lips: Don't go to dark or you will look kind of evil, but to light and your lips will get washed out. Try medium pinks which will offer color but not too intensified.

Eyes: Try grey/charcoal/black eyeshadows for a more serious look depending on the intensity you want. Apply them between your lash line and crease. Use a volumising mascara in black.
Cheeks: You should use something pinkish. Not barbie bright type of pink, something more muted which makes you look rosy and healthily flushed.

Actually, Prep H's formula in the US changed in the 80's. It no longer has the ingredient that it used to when it became the ';model's secret';. Those home remedies listed work just as well, if not better, than any product you can buy. Even just getting up and walking around for a while will reduce puffiness in your eyes. Puffiness is due to water buildup when you're lying down.
Dark circles are genetic. They're caused by the blood vessels under thinner undereye skin that will only get thinner as you age. There's no real ';cure'; for them, but trial and error with a good concealer, just find one that works for you. I like Touche Eclat by Yves St Laurent and also use Cle de Peau Beaute concealer when I need heavier coverage. If you want to go the drugstore route, remember most drugstores allow you to return cosmetics (and if yours doesnt, try this at one that does) - simply buy what sounds right, keep your receipt and if it doesn't do what you want, return it. Then move on to the next brand.
Most lip plumpers work by using a stimulant (pepper, cinnamon) to irritate the lips into looking fuller. I like Lip Fusion XL - the one you wear at night. I use it nightly and it plumps up the wee wrinkles that are starting to develop around my lips. It does work - and not by irritation, but it has micro collagen in it that your lips absorb. Skin loses collagen as we age too - and some people have more than others. So it kind of makes up for what Mother Nature or aging takes away and doesn't burn as much as the ';stimulant'; plumpers. Again, it's a personal choice, but I've found it to give the subtle fullness I like and it lasts all day when used nightly.

Well basically you get what you pay for as in they aren't the best ones but good enough to keep you going if you're on a budget on makeup. I recently ordered some of their studio brushes(heard they were one of the best) and some of their duo eyeshadow cream in Coffee %26amp; Creme. They are basically a little bit above drugstore quality, but not by much. They aren't bad, aren't the best either. Depends on how you think of it. top lash line | well i love doing the classic black eye liner ( liquid) and starting skinny from the inner corner and widening as you get to the outer corner, ( top lid) then PACk on the mascara. to have the long lash and thick lash look.
bottom lash line | only appl the eyeliner on the eye lashes, dont go all the way to the inner corner.
your eyes wil appear wide and narrow :) very nice look
foundation. use only MINERAL powder. anything else looks FAKE.
example ( bare naturel )
lips | use lip gloss a paleish pink . it wil complete ment the hair and eyes.

Wow, your description sounds a LOT like me...wow. lol. Anyways, I just even out my skin tone with a simple powder and concealer on spots where I need it. With eyes, I use that as the main focus. For natural eyes, but still stand out, I use a light pink cream base, then layer a shimmery beige as the base color (Rimmel Stars Eye Pencil in Starlight). Then I take a matte beige eyeshadow(MAC Dazzlelight) all over eye. Then I take a matte medium brown (MAC Patina, I don't use shimmery eyeshadow 'cause the base is already shimmery) on lid blending into crease. Then I take a brown-black eyeliner and line from the inner corner to outer going from thinner line to a thicker one. Then I use 2 coats of very black CoverGirl LashBlast. It's amazing (lengthening, thickening, curling....). I use a sheer rose blush. Then a light pink shimmery gloss. Simple but brings out your best features. Hope this helped.

It works great on very young and fresh skin. However, if you are older or have difficult skin, this is probably not the one you want. If you are first time make users then it is good to wear to school lightly or learn about makeup with. - The only good things from E.L.F. are the eyeshadow brush, the eyeshadows (if you use a primer/base), the lashes are cheap and good quality (but invest in a DUO lash glue), the blush is okay, the brown liner pencil is good for filling in your brow, and that's about it.

It works great on very young and fresh skin. However, if you are older or have difficult skin, this is probably not the one you want. If you are first time make users then it is good to wear to school lightly or learn about makeup with. If you are older and going out to the club and need heavy night life looks this is not going to cut it. There is nothing wrong with it if you are concerned about getting rashes or something. - The only good things from E.L.F. are the eyeshadow brush, the eyeshadows (if you use a primer/base), the lashes are cheap and good quality (but invest in a DUO lash glue), the blush is okay, the brown liner pencil is good for filling in your brow, and that's about it.

take a black eyeliner pencil and line the outer corners of your eyes, the smudge. then take a white pencil or white shimmery powder, if you have deep skin use a bronze.. and dab or smudge it in the corner of your eye. bam! huge eyes.

take a fine foundation brush and dip it into a liquid foundation that is a ashade lighter then your skin, carefully draw 2 lines from the top of your nose over your nostrils, then blende. after that carfully contour with a shade darker then your skin tone by placing a small line on your nostril on the outside of your lighter line, then blend. bam smaller nose!
lips:
take a lips liner thats a shade darker then your lips and contour by lining the outer corners of your lips, then blend slightly( kinda like the eyes) then take ur normal lip color and carfully fill in your lips. then take a shimmery light lips gloss and and dab it in the center of your lips and carfully pull out to the corners of your mouth.
foundation:
it depends on your skin type, if you have an oily skin type then use a powder foundation. if you have a dry use a wet one. but if your skin is normal try a wet foundation that dries as a powder, it will last the longest.
eyeshadow:
apply the darkest shade above the lid, the middle in the crease, and the lightest in the space where your eyebrows arch.
liquid eyeliner:
this an aquired art, so it wont be perfect the first time you do it. strecth out your face by opening your mouth and letting your jaw drop. then take the liquid eyeliner brush and dip it into the makeup, then gently rbush excess off on a the edge of the conatiner. then put the brush between you thumb and index finger and draw a carful line on your top lid (never bottom).
mascara:

Always start with an even skin tone
Use a foundation that includes moisturizer to have a natural look! Apply the foundation lightly, with a disposable application sponge(100 for $1 @ Dollar store).
Next lighten your eyes
Use a pale, shimmery pink, gold, white or whatever light color you feel like that day. Don't be afraid of color. Dust this powder in the inside corners of your eyes to OPEN them up. Also lightly brush this same powder in a thin line under the arch in your brow to enhance your eyes. Next brush it in a half circle around the outside of your eyes starting above your outer brow and ending right above your cheek bone. Choose a color to put on the crease in your eyes and finish them off with a healthy dose of mascara, top lashes only!
Choose a blush that you like
Apply on the apples of cheeks only. DO NOT pull back to hairline...this will help lighten your nose.

To plump your lips fully line them in a color similar to your lipstick. Apply lipstick almost to your lip line and then finish them with a plumping gloss. Gloss alone gives the illusion of full lips, but the plumping glosses actually plump your lips.
Finish your face by lightly brushing a bronzer over your forehead, chin %26amp; neck not too much though! Finally, apply a little more to your nose to tone it down.
~STAY BEAUTIFUL~

i have really small eyes, curling eleylashes helps and useing mascara but dont outline the whole of yours eyes in dark eyeliner.

its all about contouring your face. keep this in mind light makes things look bigger darker makes things smaller. so what i would do is use a white liner on the bottom of your eyes and some mascara or some shimmery iridescent creme shadow in the corners and edge. around your nose use a bronzing powder on each side but remember to blend well you just want to give the illusion. and as far as lips line them the same color as your lips already are but go a tiny bit outside of your natural lip line fill in with the lip liner to make sure its all the same color and only use gloss at the center of your lips. that's where lips are the fullest and makes them appear bigger. good luck and have fun! cosmetologist

What you need to do is get some white eyeliner. you use that in the corners and bottem of your eyes and that will make them appear larger and brighter. As for mascara, i would recommend a brown mascara, it gives you sexy legnth and volume with out closing them up. I think those tips alone will also make your nose appear smaller because your eyes will appear to take up more of your face. Dont use dark colored eye shadows...use shimmery or opeaque colors to brighten your eyes, again making them appear larger
as for your lips use a nutrual matte lip color, like a peachy or tanish color...not pink or red because it blends the line of where your lips ends and begins. Also, if you take a little bit of that white eyeliner and dab it into that crevice of your lips(right under your nose_) it will make them look larger. i got something at sephora called ';big lip injection'; and it reallllyyyyy realllllyyy works soo well!
nose...well, ive been told that if you get a facial highlighter (Mary Kay sells one) and put it on either side of your nose, but not your actual nose it will make it seem less wide!

I am obsessed with ELF cosmetics, and it is amazing for stuff so cheap! I really like their mineral eye liners. They go on so smoothly! I also really like their candy shop lip gloss tins. They smell delicious and they have a hint of color. Also, their powder blushes, bronzers, foundation, etc. are really powdery and it gets everywhere. I use them anyways because I already bought it when I discovered this, but if I knew that before, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

that's hard there's so many things to buy, but if you don't have lots of lip colors, i suggest lip pencils and lipstick. gloss is okay, but if you get one clear color of lip gloss, you can put it over any lip color, which is cheaper and easier. plus you can always mix colors together, which is harder to do with gloss. so... i guess you know my vote. go with lips!
There brushes! From the regular and studio line.
I suggest the eyeshadow and blending brush from the regular line, its the one with the white handle. The studio line I suggest the powder brush and complexion brush, great for bronzers and blushes.

If you go to their website, up by the search bar is the ';My Beauty Profile'; button. If you click it, you chose your eye color, the products you use alot, and stuff like that, then they recommend the products that would look good for you! I am obsessed with ELF cosmetics, and it is amazing for stuff so cheap! I really like their mineral eye liners. They go on so smoothly! I also really like their candy shop lip gloss tins. They smell delicious and they have a hint of color. Also, their powder blushes, bronzers, foundation, etc. are really powdery and it gets everywhere. I use them anyways because I already bought it when I discovered this, but if I knew that before, I probably wouldn't have bought it.
