What may cause a child to get his eyes, lips and face on a whole swollen?

My little cousin begun with a stomach infection 3weeks ago, he received proper medication from a doctor. Two weeks ago he was suffering from conjunctivitis. This week however, he has had fever for almost 3 days, and yesterday his face had become swollen. His eyes looked profund, maybe as a result of the swelling. He has also had a problem with the excretion of faeces, in that he constantly goes to the bathroom. what can all of this mean?Just to add, he is 8 years of age. What may cause a child to get his eyes, lips and face on a whole swollen?
I agree with the first answerer. He needs to go to the ER for the swelling. It could develop into something even more serious. What may cause a child to get his eyes, lips and face on a whole swollen?
this child is having a severe allergic reaction to something!

Take him to a hospital emergency as soon as possible.

it may be food or a medication.

do you have wasps bees around where the child lives?

a lot of people have bad reaction to insect bites, some people are severely allergic to some types of antibiotics.
Has he been prescribed penicillin? Sounds like it may be an allergic reaction to something. I would bring him back to the doctor and/or emergency room ASAP for the swelling.
